Hello!

I’m going to use this site to share and document my progress mostly with my wood fired oven but also with cool kitchen adventures as well.  Hopefully I can share some useful information regarding the set up and use of a wood fired oven along with some cooking tips and recipes.

Heres the dream… ( OK my wife thinks I’m a certifiable nut job) My plan is to turn my shop (aka the place where I park my truck) into a true working kitchen with a real Italian wood fired oven (WFO). You see the reason that she thinks I’m crazy is that I already have a WFO in the backyard that works perfectly fine… I realize this but… its not the same.  We will get into why this is true a lot over the course of the next few months… Hopefully my wife will read those posts and not commit me to the psych ward.

So right now I have an empty shop/garage that I will be transforming into my “LAB” and I will be documenting, laughing, and cooking along the way.  Its gonna be fun!
